I can’t believe my little doll is already eight months old! I planned to share her nursery much earlier, but life with two kiddos has a way of making time fly. Nevertheless, here are pictures of Emma’s nursery.

Gold & White Nursery 11.22.13

I had to share this nursery with you ladies! I mean seriously, how stunning is this?! It does not look the least bit practical to me. I would be scared to step foot in it, let alone with a baby! Which makes me wonder whether it’s for show or is it for real? I found it on pinterest and can’t trace the source. But, what eye candy!

Luke’s Classic, Simple & Soothing Nursery 09.16.13

This post is finally happening ladies!  I can’t believe I’m only posting pictures of Luke’s nursery now, but honestly, as a full time working mom, it’s been pretty hard finding the time to take pictures of the nursery.  Although I still feel like there is so much I want to add to it, there is no time.  My second and third trimester were during ‘busy season’ where I was putting in 12 hours a day, so all the plans I had for the nursery I could not pull off.  Nonetheless, here’s what I managed to do with the time I had.  I posted the inspiration board to the nursery here.  While I deviated a bit from the original inspiration board, I managed to maintain the same feel.  Which goes to show that you really don’t have to follow these inspiration boards to the tee in order to achieve the look.

I wanted the nursery to be a soothing and calming place, with a classy and timeless look.  I stuck with soft and toned down colors as you can see from the soft blue/grey walls and natural wood tones.

I absolutely loved the carved floral details on the crib, book case, and changing table (from Restoration Hardware).  If you ever wondered whether their furniture looks as good in person as it does on their websites, it really does! The quality is amazing and the pieces are so elegant and timeless.

Some of my favorite pieces are Craiglist finds such as the vintage radio flyer car in-front of the crib and the rocking horse!  His name above the crib was a DIY that I’m hoping to share with you in the near future.  Super easy to make and customize exactly to your color pallet.

Another favorite of mine is the chandelier.  I love the organic lines and the rustic feel as opposed to the furniture’s straight clean lines.  It added a different, unique touch to the space.

This fisher price bear plays the sweetest song that made Luke smile every time we played it for him and so I created this ‘I love you’ print in honor of that memory.  You can download an 8X10 here in many different colors.

I’m so excited for baby #2 to come along (one day!) and go through the process of designing a nursery again! I hope you enjoyed these photos of Luke’s nursery!  Here is a list of resources:
