I’m finally done with Luke’s room! I’m so excited to share it with you and glad it’s off my back. We really wanted him to love the space and want to spend time playing in his room, so we figured a car themed room would be perfect. I also wanted to furnish it with items that he will not outgrow anytime soon.

He was so excited when the car bed was installed and instantly fell in love with the space.  We had no problem transitioning him into this bed from his crib. He loves hanging out and reading books on his car bed.

This is the dresser we had in his nursery. We found it fit perfectly in the new space and the wood finish provided a warm touch to the cool color pallet.

I love this teepee, it’s very spacious and the perfect size for him to grow into.

The vintage car poster was a DIY. I purchased the image from Shutterstock and printed it on plastic thick paper.  I also love the two tone triangle decals which I found on Etsy.

We had these comic posters printed on aluminum sheets for an aged, vintage look. They came out real nice!

Now I can focus on Emma’s nursery! I’m waiting for a couple furniture pieces to arrive in late September/early October. I should be able to post her nursery sometime then!

  1. This room rocks! I love the color choice, the light fixture, the vintage poster and that awesome bed. Love that the wall decals helped in making that wall a focal point. Super cute!!!

  2. Thank you Patchi!! Your wall decals completed the look of the room. I love the fact that your wall decals are two tone, which added an awesome touch to the room!
