Hey ladies! For today’s gift guide, I’m rounding up the toys that Luke has been into in the past year or so. He’s faithfully went back to play with all of them! If you have a toddler (between the age of 2 – 3) that you  need a gift for, these are good options!

Unending fun with the stacking blocks – Choo choo Thomas the Train – Music time with this xylophone – Pretend play with the doctor’s case – Imitating sounds of the vehicles puzzle – Cuddling with this plush elephant – Hours and hours of playing with letters and numbers on the double sided white/chalk board – Every little man loves his tools with this truck – Learning the alphabets with the alphabet stacking blocks!

This Holiday, treat your man (and other men in your life) to one of those awesome gifts.  I really like that bathroom set for a bachelor! And what about that leather tray? It’s so perfect for my hubby when he comes home from work to toss his keys, wallet, and phone in!

Revamping an Old Mirror 11.20.14

comment & share

I have been wanting to buy a mirror to place above the dresser in our bedroom for a while now. But a couple months ago, as I was clearing out some clutter in the basement, I found this old mirror my husband bought before we got married.

As you can see, it was pretty beat up! So I thought hey, why not give it a new look that goes with our bedroom and save a few hundred dollars on a new mirror. It was totally worth it! A little black paint and some gold leaf glam and voila. This mirror revamp DIY cost me all of $35 and a couple days!

I thought I’d share with you what I did to get it from drab to fab.
